This is St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, Louisiana. It is a beautiful building made at the beginning of the 20th century.
I obtained permission from the priest to photograph the church after Good Friday mass, when the church was stripped bare of decoration and had a vacant spirit.
I had control over the lighting with the assistance of my girlfriend. Thanks again, baby.
With the low lighting, 100 ISO 4x5 film, and f/45, most of the exposures required 12-16 minutes.
All in all, the shoot took four hours from 2000-000 hours. I shot 10 negatives, four of which I'm satisfied with.

I love that button. This maybe my favorite one just because of that button on the chair. :D

*I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they tangle with human emotions.*

*Behind this mask is an idea... And ideas are bulletproof.*

*We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams.*
Truly beautiful. Great composition.
