This is St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, Louisiana. It is a beautiful building made at the beginning of the 20th century. I obtained permission from the priest to photograph the church after Good Friday mass, when the church was stripped bare of decoration and had a vacant spirit. I had control over the lighting with the assistance of my girlfriend. Thanks again, baby. With the low lighting, 100 ISO 4x5 film, and f/45, most of the exposures required 12-16 minutes. All in all, the shoot took four hours from 2000-000 hours. I shot 10 negatives, four of which I'm satisfied with.
